How we compare

Most AI chatbot products on the market are self-service. You sign up, paste content, configure prompts, iterate. You are responsible for content quality, prompt tuning, evaluation, and keeping things up to date over time. If the bot gives bad answers, it’s because your configuration is bad.

Vectorspace is the opposite. The entire point is that you don’t do any of that. We do.

Compared to self-service chatbot platforms

Section titled “Compared to self-service chatbot platforms”

Tools in this category — ChatGPT for Business, Intercom Fin, Zendesk AI, HubSpot Chatbots, and the many custom-GPT builders — give you a platform and expect you to run it. They work well for teams with dedicated content and AI ops resources.

Vectorspace is different: the monthly price is not software rental. It covers an ongoing managed process that analyzes what users ask, evaluates the answers, resolves gaps and contradictions, and keeps the knowledge base current as the business changes.

Hiring one person to own your knowledge base — read tickets, write FAQ entries, update product docs, train the AI — costs between USD 3,000 and USD 8,000 per month in Brazil, and USD 60,000 to USD 120,000 per year in North America. And that’s just the salary.

After a one-time setup of USD 1,200 or BRL 7,200, Vectorspace delivers the same ongoing outcome for USD 500 or BRL 3,000 per month through a managed process supported by tooling we built over a decade.

Most companies handle repeat questions with a mix of help-center search (which usually doesn’t work), human support (which is slow and expensive), and “that information is somewhere in Notion/SharePoint/the shared drive” (which is never found).

Every unanswered question is a small friction that compounds: abandoned purchases, support tickets escalating, new hires asking senior colleagues, customers leaving without contacting you. Vectorspace turns knowledge into a resource that answers these questions instantly and consistently, 24/7.

  • Not a marketing automation. We don’t capture leads, run email sequences or score prospects. The widget is designed to answer questions, not extract contact details.
  • Not a customer data platform. We don’t build profiles of your users or correlate behavior.
  • Not a self-service builder. There is no prompt-engineering UI for you to tweak. We tune the assistant’s behavior based on what we observe — you don’t need to touch it.

If you want those things, other tools exist and they do them well. If what you want is reliable answers from knowledge that stays curated and current, we are the right choice.
